50 Declassified Files on Netaji Destroyed by Congress
Prime minister Narendra Modi, released 100 secret files on Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose. He was an Indian politician & Indian freedom fighter. He had been a leader of younger, radical, wing of the Indian national Congress. He became a congress president in 1938 to 1939. His most famous slogan was “Give me blood and I will give you freedom” and another famous quote was “Dilli Chalo”. This was the call he used to give the INA armies to motivate them.
Realased 100 files:
In January, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had put the first lot of 100 files in the public domain on the occasion of the 119th birth anniversary of Netaji. The Central government on Tuesday released the latest set of declassified files on Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose.
Doubt On File:
The paper revealed that several files on Netaji subhash Chandra Bose were either not lightly traceable or were destroyed. As per the source, at the time of congress govt were in power, most of the files were destroyed in the time of 1960s to 70s.
The documents consist of ten each files from the Prime Minister’s Office and Home Ministry and 30 files from Ministry of External Affairs related to the period of 1956 to 2009.
