A 22-year student dies because of hair transplant surgery
A college student Santosh died after hair transplant surgery in Chennai, last month to treat his slight baldness ended up dead just two days after the surgery. Santosh, 22, had developed a fever immediately after the 10-hour-procedure that involved 1,200 hair transplants and passed away on the third day in a private hospital.
His parents blame the doctors for his death condition, they said that the surgeons were not professionals and that the anesthetist left soon after the procedure began. Both doctors responsible for the treatment are absconding.
They also included saying that the doctors earns fifty to sixty lakhs every day , for them only money matters not life, because of them I lost my child, The owners of the Advanced Robotic Hair Transplant Center have now been sent a notice by the state medical council. The case has led the health department to recommended strict regulations for centers that deal with surgical procedures like hair removal while masquerading as beauty salons, spas and hair treatment centers.
