Aman Bansal from Jaipur tops in JEE (Advance)
In JEE( Advance) examination Aman Bansal from Jaipur toped in the examination 2106 which is conducted for admissions to the premier IITs. And on the other side Bhavesh Dhingra from Yamuna Nagar, Kunal Goyal hit second and third place and amoung females Riya Singh topped with the rank of 133 .
The highest marks obtained in the test, by Aman Bansal, is 372. The highest obtained in physics, chemistry and mathematics is 124 each. Minimum aggregate qualifying marks in the exam is 75. Of the 36,566 who qualified, 4,923 students will be undergoing the preparatory programme at IITs.
From the IIT-Bombay zone, 8,810 students qualified, highest among the seven zones, followed by 6,702 from IIT-Madras zone and 5,941 from the IIT-Delhi zone. This year, with the addition of four new IITs, the total numbers of seats have gone up to 10,575 from last year’s 10,006.
