How often do we think that men and women are equal and same. We fight for the rights of girls, we talk about feminism and then we contradict ourselves through our actions. Who cares about the men who do so much in our lives and still get no appreciation?

Here are a few things that scream out how even men are being tortured by the society like we women do and still suffer in silence!

Chivalry

“You are a man, You have to behave like one”. “Offer your seat to some girl if around.” “Pay the bill, if going out with a lady.” “Pay attention to what she have to say, and protect her.” What if that man wants to spit the bill or order for himself rather than letting that girl order her choice for him. What if he wants to just sit and stay quiet rather than talk about how cute her friend’s boyfriend’s second cousin’s new puppy is. It doesn’t mean he don’t love you, it just means he needs his own time!

Emotional expressions

Men, unlike women are not free to express their emotions. If done so, they are called sensitive and emotional… Lady like! They can’t cry out loudly as they are taught from the very beginning “men don’t cry!” Why can’t they cry? According to a study of a very famous university, men are more sensitive and emotional when it comes to the one they love. But they don’t express it as it may cause harm to their societal status.

Stereotyped

“All men are same.” One thing that all the men in our society have heard at least a few times by some people in their groups… Specially those who call themselves feminists. Who gave them the right to stereotype those who are well off and sophisticated? Would they themselves like it if someone call them by some indecent slang? What if the men they are addressing with vulgar word really and truly respect the women they are looking at and just not with them for physical pleasures?

Family Responsibilities

Every girl want a guy who will take her responsibility and take charge of the family. She wants to work but for her own wish, not to earn bread for the family. But boys on the other side have to work! To take their responsibilities, they can’t stay home and look after their kids. Why can’t their other half, their partner work and earn the bread and they stay home and cook food and look after the household if they like it? Can’t they chose what they love? Why criticize them for choosing their choice of life.

Sports and Online sites!

How can you not like sports or playing games? You don’t go to online sites for fun? Oh how boring man! Boys go through these stereotypical questions if they say that they are not much interested in sports or into those online sites. “Are you really a man?” Or “How come you and your girl are together for this long and still not into each other’s physical life!” And thus friends make fun of such gentlemen who respect their partners will of not getting intimate or don’t like watching games or any sort of sports.
It’s their will, its their wish, its their life.
Don’t reject, rather Respect!
