Bizarre tech: Jacket that keeps you cool
Have you recently been worried thinking about how you will spend the upcoming summer season? Then, we guess you should meet Giriraj Singh, the minister for Micro Small and Medium Enterprises. We are not trying to be funny. The minister actually has an interesting solution. Few days ago Mr.Singh unveiled a special jacket that can keep you cool all the sweaty summer. In what has been dubbed as the “AC jacket” in Bihar, the cloth has climate control buttons that can change its features according to your preference.
Unveiling the jacket, Singh said that fabric of the jacket is cotton from Khanwa and dedicated technology. The self-cooling jacket has two options which change the features of the jacket. While the red button is for heat, the green button reduces the temperature. Those who made the jacket said that it can produce up to 20 degrees difference. As per reports, the jacket has cold and hot air fans fitted to a battery which makes the change in temperature. Reportedly, an MIT graduate developed the device. Mr.Singh said that the jacket will benefit soldiers at the front lines. He also launched spinning wheels that run on solar energy last month. He also took to twitter to share pictures of his new jacket. “Muslims should stand equal with Hindus by ridding off minority tag” Giriraj Singh said in his statement.

The jacket will soon be available in the market. The AC jacket currently priced at Rs 18,000 for a half jacket and Rs 25,000 for full-sleeved one. The students of National Institute of Fashion Technology or NIFT developed the design. Singh’s ad for the jacket is “From blazing Rajasthan to ice-cold Siachen.
