Marinda May Kerr, an Australian model and one of the Victoria’s Secret Angel married Snapchat founder Evan Spiegel at the end of May but no pictures were leaked of that day until now. But now she has revealed her Dior couture gown custom made by creative director Maria Grazia Chiuri on Instagram.
“I have to be honest, she’s not a difficult fit,” says the designer. “She wanted something like a fairytale, and she gave me this idea, to make a dress that was emotional and simple at the same time.” The pictures were taken by photographer Patrick Demarchelier and were published in American Vogue.
The wedding dress featured a high neckline, long sleeves and attractive full skirt with decorated with lilies on it. “Honestly, I couldn’t have imagined a more beautiful wedding dress,” Kerr said.
The former Victoria’s Secret Angel Miranda said, “I’ve had a lot of fun with fashion, and I used to be wilder, free, bohemian. But in this period of my life, my style is more pulled back. My greatest sources of inspiration have always been Grace, Audrey Hepburn, and my grandmother, who at 80 has an effortless chic: a nice pant, a white blouse, a scarf, a little heel.”
Talking about the wedding, it was an intimate one as only 45 friends and family were invited. The wedding was not followed with a bridal party, but Kerr’s six year old son Flynn, from her previous relationship with Orlando Bloom played a very adorable role of being the ring bearer and helped his mother join the new stepfather for the first dance.
