The Brainies Behind Lootel
This rocking concept has been the brainchild of Ms. Neelam Singh and Ms. Taruna Joshi, who came up with this unique and very essential solution, which should be mandatory in all cities. This is a place where you can take a shower, go to the loo, rest for a bit, have a cuppa and munch something to fill the tummy, all this at very low cost of 10/- . As the concept was unique AICSTL gave them prime 120 sq. ft. area, where more than 50% space has been used for washrooms and Jaquar, the leading bathing brand, became their washroom solution partner! The washrooms have central air conditioning and anti bacterial toilet seats. People can also make use of get ready offers, where a shower kit is provided at a minimal amount. Neelam Singh says, “The district administration allowed us to open Lootel on condition that more than 50 per cent of the area provided to us should be utilised for erecting washrooms. We’ve used 78 per cent of the area.” Have a look at the video of this amazing concept.
