Dancing, Singing And Much More Than Games Happening In Rio
It seems like Rio is witnessing all types of colours from its athletes. It’s been just 10 days of the games and we have seen almost all types of drams and performance. We saw players crying after losing and after winning, we saw the unusual incidents of broken hands and legs and some surprising winners. But now here are an all new talents athletes are showcasing at the Rio games, and it is the talent on dancing and singing.
#Singing talent of bolt:
After showing the talent of running to the world Usain Bolt is all set to debut as a singer, well I am not joking after his singing after his win at the Rio says the same . After winning the 100m on Sunday when the sprint king was asked by a Brazilian sports reporter to celebrate his historic 100m win with a song ,the Jamaican said ‘It’s always One Love. I always go for One Love. You know what I mean. That’s the song.’ and then what was next , he started singing Bob Merly’s one love in one of the most awkward voice high-pitched voice. Well he is unquestionably the fastest man on the planet but when it comes to singing I don’t think so bolt should try his hands on this.
Bolt is gunning for a triple triple – three consecutive Olympic golds in the 100m, 200m and 4 x100m relay. Bolt’s 200m heats begin today at 11.50am (3.50pm) and he has hinted at a world record attempt. And despite his earlier hamstring injury Bolt has repeatedly said he wants to be the first man to dip under 19 seconds for the 200m.
#David Katoatau’s dance moves after coming 6th:
He have seen playing celebrating their win in many different ways but I don’t think so any of you must have seen a athlete enjoying and celebrating after coming sixth in the list .but well here is a player who did the same .
David Katoatau from the tiny island nation of Kiribati celebrated his victory by unusual dance moves even though he only finished sixth in the 105kg weightlifting contest. And with these moves I am sure the gold is going with David only . The 32-year-old, says he has a serious message behind his dancing.
“Most people don’t know where Kiribati is. I want people to know more about us so I use weightlifting, and my dancing, to show the world.I wrote an open letter to the world last year to tell people about all the homes lost to rising sea levels. I don’t know how many years it will be before it sinks”explainds David.
#Nijat Rahimov’s chicken dance:
Well David Katoatau is not the only one who is getting attention from his dancing moves , Nijat Rahimov from Kazakhstan is really giving some serious competition to David with his chicken moves. Although David Katoatau danced for coming 6th in the list but Nijat Rahimov performed ‘funky chicken’ dance as he won gold in the 77kg event. While Nija,23, lifted a whopping 214 kilograms knocking reigning champion China’s Lü Xiaojun off the top spot in the 77 kilogram class – he only returned to the sport last year after a ban.
In June 2013 Rahimov failed a doping test while competing for Azerbaijan and was suspended for two years. It is believed he performed the Lezgi, the dance of the Caucasus people, who originate from an area between Asia and Europe consisting of nations including Armenia, Azerbaijan Azerbaijan Georgia, Iran, Russia and Turkey
