Just few days are left for new elect president Donald trump to take oath as the president of United States of America and in between this time he is electing his team. And making it a family affair Donald Trump has appointed son –in- law Jared Kushner as a White House senior adviser, which means he’ll continue to have a big influence on domestic and foreign policy, particularly Middle East issues and trade negotiations.

Donald Trump has appointed Jared Kushner as a White House senior adviser, which means he’ll continue to have a big influence on domestic and foreign policy, particularly Middle East issues and trade negotiations.

Kushner, 35, who is married to Trump’s daughter Ivanka, is taking the post after receiving legal counsel that doing so would not violate US anti-nepotism law, transition officials said. The position, unlike Cabinet posts, does not require US Senate confirmation, and Kushner will not be paid.

5 Things you should know about Jared Kushner:

#He is very rich

Jared Kushner took to his  family business after his father Charles was sent to prison for illegal campaign donations, tax evasion, and witness tampering, according to the New York Times.

#He is a newspaper publisher.

At 25, Kushner purchased the New York Observer newspaper while interning at a private equity firm in New York, the Times reports. Kushner is not particularly a fan of media

#He’s an Ivy Leaguer.

Kushner is a Harvard man—he was accepted after a $2.5 million donation from his father (take that for what it’s worth). He then went on to NYU for grad school, where he earned both his JD and MBA degrees.

# He is an orthodox Jew

Jared’s wife, Ivanka Trump, converted to Judaism from Presbyterianism before the couple’s 2009 wedding. Religion — specifically, the Kushner family’s objection to the fact that Ivanka wasn’t Jewish — was reportedly one of the reasons for their brief breakup in 2008.

#Jared fancies himself a JFK type

Both Jared and his younger brother Josh have photographs of John F. Kennedy on prominent display in their offices. That might change. The family previously leaned Democratic; most of his father’s campaign contributions went to Democrats (like Lautenberg, and Clinton in her Senate run in 2000).
