DU: Many Students waited till Second cutoff list
Many students decided to adopt a wait-and-watch approach on Thursday, after Delhi University announced high cutoffs for admission to its undergraduate courses. The second cutoff list will be released on the night of July 4 and is likely to see a slight drop. This time the highest cutoff for B.Com (hons) is at Ramjas College at 99.25%. For other courses, in most colleges, the cutoff hovered around the 95% amrks. Even for BA programme at Kirori Mal College, the cutoff is high as 96%.
Principal of Kirori Mal College (KMC) said that a lot of seats will be up for grabs during the second cutoff list. “In the first and second list, the cutoff is always on the higher side. By the third list, it will see a dip,” said Dinesh Khattar, KMC principal.
