Folding clothes simplified with the new robotic FoldiMate just for $850

A San Francisco startup has revealed an $850 robo-helper that does it automatically. Dubbed ‘Your laundry folding friend’, FoldiMate uses a conveyor belt, several robotic arms and an adjustable tray that pushes out expertly folded apparel in less than a minute.
It is a 32 inches tall and 28 inches wide, this machine can fit in most laundry rooms and can be easily moved to different rooms — it only weighs 65 pounds.
FoldiMate says it takes about 10 seconds to fold most items and an extra 20 to 30 to steam wrinkles out. The rack can hold about 15 to 20- pieces at a time, however it cannot handle everything in your laundry basket.

The machine has been commercially available since 2014, but the firm has been working on a family friendly version that is set to hit the market in 2017.
FoldiMate is currently accepting pre-orders on the site, which is expected to run about $700 to $850.
But the firm is offering a 10 percent discount to those who pay a down payment of $10 or more for the unit
