-By Shirish Yaatri
Its Sunday, the day for fun and outings. The youth of Indore is enjoying the weekend with their friends and family. To capture the joy we visited PVR Cinemas @Treasure Island Mall which’s looking pretty charming with the hanging umbrellas from the roof and makes the atmosphere more romantic and embracing the rainy season. PVR is crowded, two most awaited movies released last Friday, both the screens are flooded with the lovers . We asked the audience for their views, some peoples were influenced, some became critic, the reviews are mixed.
Angad Sinha from Indore says “Madari is a brilliant creation and a step ahead in the serious drama segment of Indian cinema”.
Shreya Chhapar says “The movie is thrilling and the characters hold the viewer’s breath with intense performance and effective dialogues by Irrfan Khan.” Jimmy Shergil too is at his best as a police officer tracking dawn the kidnaper (Irrfan) of a child.
On the other hand people also loved ‘Kabali’, but some fans aren’t satisfied. Usually, when Rajnikant is on-screen any other thing hardly matters. But the time has changed and cinema lovers want something new.
Rupali shah says “Kabali frames the same old format of superstardom and one man army type larger than life things.”
A great Rajni fan Sahil Khan says “Another extraordinary creation of the legend”
And Abhishek Sharma was confused and said “Its entertaining!”
So the verdict is, both the movies are entertaining in their own way. Choose yours and book the seats to nearest cinema hall. Remember, wants to see a realistic drama inspired by real events and Irrfan’s great performance – Go to Madari.
If wants to see an entertaining light hearted movie over popcorn on a weekend with your friends and family and wants to enjoy Rajnikant’s super-action and the lines only he can spell – Go to Kabali.
