This little genius received a Google award
Google India has announced a prestigious Google award to a14-year-0ld boy name Advay Ramesh where he got first position for producing a device that improves fishermen’s man safety and productivity. He is the genius boy we must say because in his very little age he got a prestigious award from Google, this special talented boy makes India proud with his unique idea.
The little boy hails from Chennai and studies in class 10th at Chennai’s national public school. He has won $10,000 and a year-long mentorship from Scientific American. He is also among 20 finalists for a Google scholarship worth $50,000.His Project entitled, ‘FishErmen Lifeline Terminal’ (FELT), helps to improve fishermen safety and productivity using the Standard Position Services (SPS)”Winning the Google Community Impact Award means a lot to me, it would help me learn more and develop my idea further,” mentioned in a PTI report.
After this achievement from the little Advay Ramesh the spokesperson of Google says that” it’s so imperative for us to support and encourage these young people to explore and challenge the world around them through scientific discovery”.Last year, the grand prize was won by Olivia Hallisey (16) with her project ‘Temperature-Independent, Portable, and Rapid Field Detection of Ebola via a Silk-Derived Lateral-Flow System’.
