A look into David Beckham’s £2.4 Million French Mansion Which Is On A Sale
David and Victoria Beckham are all set to sell their £2.4 million French mansion for about for £3 million. The sale comes after the former Spice Girl spent a reported £5 million renovating the 19th Century property to match her up-to-the-minute tastes. The couple bought the mansion when Victoria fall in love with the house at first sight.
The couple bought their six-bedroom property in the sunny French village of Bargemon, near the Cote d’Azur, for £1.5 million in 2003. But a neighbour told ‘They are never here any more. When their children were smaller they used it often but now they are never in France during the school holidays.’
The main house, which is 24 times bigger than an average house, boasts 10 bedrooms and six bathrooms, while there are 13 “out” buildings in the grounds. The ground floor boasts a state of the art kitchen and breakfast room, plush purple sitting room and a formal dining room with an open fireplace.
A “superb” infinity pool is described by the brochure as offering “magnificent views of the woodland and meadow, pool-house and terrace.”
And a separate farm house has been converted into a guest house for visitors, while the on-site chapel is said to offer “additional potential.”
So why one would sell this beautiful mansion, one of the other reason for the sale of Domaine Saint-Vincent, too, as it was once reported that the mansion is haunted by the ghost of a previous owner, who took his own life in the study.
