Whatsapp is coming with its new feature that may allow users to watch YouTube videos in Whatsapp application. The messaging app is currently working for iOS users only and currently is not available for public. The YouTube videos can be watched as PiP (picture-in-picture) mode without opening the YouTube app.

This collaboration of YouTube and Whatsapp with do the same as what YouTube do. The users can expand the video and can right swipe it to completely hide it to read the chats. The video can only be seen while being in the particular chat window.

“How many times did you receive a YouTube link on WhatsApp and you were annoyed that WhatsApp opened YouTube to view it? Finally this won’t happen anymore: this new feature implemented in WhatsApp uses the Picture in Picture concept to view YouTube videos without opening it,” the report reads.

This new feature is expected to run with iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6S, iPhone 6S+, iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus and later will be in androids and windows as well, but no idea when. Just few days back, Whatsapp revealed 2 more features that will come up with the new update. One is now users can send any type of document and another one is users can change the font type to bold or italic.
