I think this couple give us a perfect example of true love, though this time true love is very rarely seen, this couple gave a appropriate meaning to the word love , this is a couple named Margaret Livengood who is 80 years and her husband , Don who is 84 , passed away with just hours of each other after being treated at the Carolinas Healthcare System Northeast in Concord , North Carolina.

Both are suffering from major diseases, and according to the Salisbury Post the hospital staff bent the rules and placed the couple’s two hospital beds in the same room in intensive care , they also positioned their beds in that manner that they can hold their hands and can come close together in their final days, as the couple earlier planned that how will they take their last breath.

“We could walk in together, just like we’re getting married again,” Don had told their daughter, Pattie, prior to his death, revealing that he and his wife had planned on dying together.

And according to her daughter Pattie her father slipped a note to her in her personal record that “To my family, I love you all!! Please don’t mourn for me at my death. Have a service of praise and thanks. My faith and trust is in Jesus Christ, not only in my earthly life but throughout eternity. Love, Daddy. My greatest desire is that all of you believe in Jesus Christ as God’s Son and receive Jesus’ gift of forgiveness from sin (John 3:16).”

Don and Margaret married on Margaret’s birthday, June 15, 1957. “They were never, ever separated in life,” Pattie concluded to the Salisbury Post. The story of the old and true couple is very interesting and very few only among these days takes a decision to live and die together.
