Betting the names like Cristiano Ronaldo and NBA star Lebron James, Roger Federer once again is named world’s most marketable athlete of 2016 by the London School of Marketing. In 2016 the Former World Number 1 earned $60.7 million in sponsorships and endorsements, which mean that being out of competition for six months didn’t affect his off-court earnings.
“His successful endorsement deals show that personal characteristics can also be an important part of long-lasting sponsorships,” the study said.
