Deepika Padukone becomes the new face of Vistara
Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone has been roped in as the new brand ambassador for airline company Vistara. A multimedia brand campaign with a TV commercial (TVC) for the airline will be kicked off on Monday. Vistara is a joint venture between Tata and Singapore Airlines.
The concept of the TVC revolves around how Deepika Padukone feels the same wonder and joy every time she flies Vistara, as she felt when flying for the first time.
The campaign intends to elaborate on the core interpretation of the brand promise which is about the feeling of looking forward to flying again.
In a statement issued by the airlines, Deepika said, “It is a matter of great pride for me to be associated with Vistara, a brand that is reliable, warm and friendly; a brand that carries the lineage of Tata and Singapore Airlines. Vistara actually makes me look forward to flying again, like I did when I was a child and every flight was a wonder.”
“Through this campaign, she has brought to life the special spark of happiness that people feel when they fly with Vistara, the airline that is proud to carry the remarkable heritage of Tata group, Mr. JRD Tata, and Singapore Airlines”, Phee Teik Yeoh, chief executive officer, Vistara said.
Vistara hopes to fly international soon, the airline said earlier.
