“Equinox 7.0” At IIM Raipur
One of the biggest business cum cultural fest, Equinox 7.0 is being organized by the students of IIM Raipur from 27th-29th of January. This event hosts various business competitions in which participants from renowned management colleges of the country are expected to turn up. Different clubs of the college are geared up with a variety of challenging and ruminating competitions for few of the best minds of the nation.
The organising team and a few other students from the institute promoted the event on a huge scale by conducting pre-event shows in renowned institutes like Hidayatullah National Law University, National Institute of Technology Raipur, All India Insitute of Medical Sciences Raipur, IIIT Raipur and Shri Shankaracharya Institute of Professional Management and Technology where the students of these colleges participated in numerous activities like dancing, singing, drama, band performances etc., showcasing their talents. The participants were awarded with exciting prizes and goodies in the form of Equinox T-shirts offered by Simba Aqua, vouchers from different sponsors like KFC, VLCC, Ola Cabs, Dominos, Pizza Hut and many more. Few students also displayed their brawn by participating in arm wrestling competitions. Along with these pre-shows the students also conducted flash mobs at different shopping malls in the city quite enthusiastically. All these events were very engaging and received great reactions from their respective audiences.
The three day cultural fest would also be hosting Coke Studio on the 28th of January and a DJ night on the 29th featuring DJ Tejas with his versatile repertoire of music to send the partying students to a tizzy. Students of different colleges seemed really eager to attend this fest and make it a huge success. Kaveesh Sharma, a Cultural Club member of IIM Raipur, said, “We are working day and night to make the event a even more successful one when compared to previous years. We have got registrations from all over the country for the business as well as the cultural events.”
