Golmaal 4 on the roll…
Rohit Shetty, whose last release DILWALE, quit didin’t work as per the expectations at the box office, has apparently moved on. The hit machine director is gearing up for his next which will be the fourth installment in one of the biggest and succesfull bollywood hit franchise, GOLMAAL.
Golmaal, which released in 2006 did wonders at the ticket counter and had set new parameters of comedy in the industry. The huge popularity of the film and repeat value made Rohit Shetty to convert it in a hit franchise which was followed by the second installment which was released in 2008 and third installment which was released in 2010. Both the installments created history at the box office and now the filmmaker is ready for its fourth installment.
In fact Shetty has already purchased the negative rights of Golmaal from the film’s original producers and is looking at commencing work on the film soon.
Though details and an official confirmation are still pending, we also hear that Rohit Shetty is keen on featuring the original cast of the film which includes Ajay Devgn. If all goes as per plan, then the film may roll this year with the original cast of the Golmaal series.
