India schedule for New Zealand series announced; Indore gets a day night match

The full schedule for the India and New Zealand has been announced by the BCCI. New Zealand will tour India for three Test matches and five ODIs in September-October starting form 22 Sep top 29 Oct.
After hosting two IPL matches recently, the Green Park stadium in Kanpur will now host a Test match between India and New Zealand after the gap of seven years, an official said on Tuesday. And this is how the Indian test skipper Virat Kohli shared his happiness of playing in Kanpur.

And for the first Indore’s Holkar stadium will have the opportunity to host a test match. The second test match will be hosted by Indore from 30th September. And this is how Ajinkya Rahane shared on twitter how excited he is to play in Indore.

The series against New Zealand will be the first assignment at home for new head coach Anil Kumble. However, he and Team India will embark on the tour of Caribbean next month to play 4 Tests. After that, India return for a hectice schedule where they play 13 Tests at home.

2nd Test: Indore – September 30 – October 4
3rd Test: Kolkata – October 8-12
5 ODIs (October 16 to 29)
1st ODI: Dharamsala – October 16
2nd ODI: New Delhi – October 19

4th ODI: Ranchi – October 26
5th ODI: Vizag – October 29
