Barack Obama turns 55 on Thursday as he celebrates his last birthday as POTUS or President of the United States.Though the tenure of US President Barack Obama will end in 2017 but this will be last birthday in the white house. in these 8 years he has been clicked no of times by the world media but do you know who clicks him officially or who is the official photographer of Barack Obama,it is Pete Souza.
Pete Souza is the name you usually don’t listen, but once or twice may be you definitely have admired his work. Still confused, so let me tell you I am talking about the man who states with the president of united states of America every single second, and who reaches before him at every place he is planned to .
Yes we are talking about Pete Souza the official photographer of the white house and Mr. Barrack Obama.
Pete is an American photojournalist, the current Chief Official White House photographer for President Barack Obama and the director of the White House Photography Office. From clicking the hardest moment of Mr. President to capturing the most iconic pictures Pete has always amazed us with his photography. And this is not the first time that he is doing all this; he was also the official photographer of Ronald Reagan, the first Hollywood actor to rule the white house from 1983 to 1989.
Whether it is the Obama playing with the kids, a young kid touching Obama’s hair or even the dance of Michelle Obama every picture taken by Pete is just so historic which will never be forgotten by the world for years to come .These images taken by Pete tell us an untold story of the white house and the story of a man who is not just a president of a country but also is a husband, a father and an individual himself.
And if you don’t know so let me tell you a very interesting thing, that none of the photos taken in a single day and in whole of the presidents tenure is deleted and when the time comes for the president to leave the white house those all lakhs of photos taken in the office time is given to him as a memory.
When the time will come for Obama to leave the office Souza’s photographs will tell the story of a leader who was calm under fire, unfazed by office, unquenchable human, and who showed the way for all the kids who passed through his Oval Office, and millions more, to be good people, good Americans, and good citizens of the world. Will we miss the man in these pictures?
