Paris Jackson’s Boyfriend Michael Snoddy has got a tattoo on his arm showing a confederate flag and now he is accused of being racist over this tattoo. The tattoo shows CHF initials made on flame flag.
A message on Los Angeles tattoo parlour Dermagraphink’s Instagram page on Sunday said: ‘Cover up on my buddy @michaelsnoddy love ya brother.’
And Paris revealed that ‘it was his idea to cover it up’ in response to a comment from an Instagram user, which she shared to her own page with the caption: ‘Can we all finally move on now?’
‘I could care less about the tattoo. I know he originally got it for his favorite band. Hell, Lynrd Skynyrd, one of my favorite bands, used to pridefully wave the same flag.
‘Now, my boyfriend decided to get it covered up on his own expense. He didn’t like the racism that was affiliated with it, the same way Nazis are affiliated with the Sanskrit svastika (now known as the swaztika) and the same way satanists are affiliated with many Celtic and pagan symbols.’ She said .
Paris concluded: ‘No matter what is on his body, I will always love him. But it does say a lot about who he is by him trying to be respectful towards people of all races.’
The Confederate flag, which has sparked fierce debate in recent years with some calling for it to be banned, was originally used to represent a body of people who wanted to keep slavery legal in the US.
