Vishnu Raj Menon Wins Mr India 2016 Title

Earlier this year, we saw Rohit Khandelwal winning the title of Mr World, and becoming the first Asian man to do so and now male beauty pageant Peter England Mr India 2016 announced Vishnu Raj Menon as the winner of this year’s title. The winner of Mr India 2016 was announced on Thursday night in Mumbai in a grand ceremony, which saw the presence of Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan.
Altamash Faraz was named as the second runner-up while Viren Barman got the first runner-up award. Menon succeeds Mr India 2015 winner Rohit Khandelwal, who is currently Mr World 2016. The Mr India 2016 winner will represent India at the Mr World 2017 male beauty pageant, which is organised by the Miss World Organization.
16 contestants from all over the country had to go through various grooming sessions that were mentored by eminent panelists from the fashion and film industry of India.
“This competition is not just about looks. It shows a lot of character. These people, while doing their jobs, took out time and disciplined themselves to reach this far. I think that is commendable. I feel, if they can achieve this, they can achieve whatever they want in life,” Hrithik told reporters here at the event last night.
The wardrobe of all the participants was styled by Peter England and celebrity fashion designer Nivedita Saboo.
