If you are a cat lover and think that kittens are adorable then there is a suitable place for you at Mumbai. Yeah, you read it right, Cat Café Studio is a place where they rescue cats and kittens. And if you have been through a bad thing or a bad day, visit here and have some chai and brownie with these feline friends with whom you will definitely spend some quality time.
The owner of this café is Mriidu Khosla. The cafe, which currently houses around 40 cats, stemmed from  and coexists with the Zcyphher Studio which was started by Khosla in 2010. It began with her rescuing her first cat in 2009 and took an organised and public form in 2015. Its primary objective is to facilitate the adoption of strays and, till date, close to 200 adoptions have taken place. Located at Aram Nagar, Versova is a great place to chill with friends and to spend some time with kittens.
Once you enter the place, wherever you’ll go, you will probably find a cat in pretty much every other corner. You may find them playing and posing for the camera or peacefully napping with friends. The studio also invites people from all age groups to volunteer and even holds adoption drives for cats. The adoption of adult cats is especially encouraged because they do not care they need all their lives and people usually want to adopt kittens. They are also very careful in screening who adopts their cats and their procedure involves the prospective adopters reading an adoption manual, filling a questionnaire, and having home visits.
