Adorable Dragon Prince of Bhutan’s Tribute to Medical Staff
One of the cutest royal babies across the world, the Dragon Prince of Bhutan appears on Bhutan’s July calendar. In the snap, he’s playing a doctor by wearing a stethoscope around his neck and a perfect smile on his face, so adorable! According to the Royal Office for media, the picture is a tribute to Bhutan’s health workers thanking them for their dedication and hard work. The picture is released by Royal Office for media.
Prince Jigme Namgyel Wangchuck called the Dragon Prince of Bhutan, turned 1 year old in February this year. He is the first child of King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck and Queen Jetsun Pema. The royal office has announced free calendars that have the cute Prince and his parents as well.
According to the Royal Office, “Like His Royal Highness, many children are fond of playing ‘doctor-doctor’. Our health personnel are an inspiration and role models for many, for their hard work and sacrifice, and for healing and helping so many people every day. So we think it is apt to dedicate this edition of our calendar to the people working in the health sector. Thank you for all that you do!”
Earlier, in Bhutan’s previous calendar, the Prince and his mother were featured. The charming little royal kid was snapped sitting in the Lingkana Palace gardens trying to reach his beautiful mother’s fingers.
The royal couple, King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, 37, and Queen Jetsun Pema, 27, got married in 2011. Though Bhutan allows polygamy, the King declared that Queen Jetsun will be his only wife.
“Now, many will have their own idea of what a Queen should be like—that she should be uniquely beautiful, intelligent and graceful. As my queen, I have found such a person and her name is Jetsun Pema. While she is young, she is warm and kind in heart and character. These qualities together with the wisdom that will come with age and experience will make her a great servant to the nation.”
