First Deaf college of North India opened in SMU

North India’s Shakuntala Mishra University (SMU) is going to be first deaf college soon under this special courses are also provided for the deaf students which are best to their skill developments last year university has plea to social justice and empowerment and this year ministry has approved their request university has also grant 2.5 million to the university .
University’s dean academic professor AP Tiwari has said that the work of the university will start from end of this year for the work there is total expenditure was about five million according to which 2.5 million is already granted by central and the rest 2.5 million still remaining by state government. A.P Tiwari said that by this grant money they will recruit facilities members, make infrastructure and furniture.
The Pre-degree course’s student will have advantage for sure currently the university is conducting sing language and deaf studies, Professor A. P Tiwari said that after starting the college the students who is in pre-degree courses can also peruse specialized courses in this university too and in this besides teaching there will be also research for the deaf students.
