Real Madrid’s Recycled Kit Turned All Transparent In Rain

Cristiano Rolando always makes news for what he wears off field, and why not he got a great sense of style. But this time the whole Read Madrid team was making the news for their dressing. The Zinedine Zidane’s men stepped on field wearing special kit made from recycled plastic for match against Sporting Gijon.
The move came as part of cooperation between Adidas, Madrid’s shirt supplier, and the ‘Parley for the Oceans’ campaign aimed at cleaning up the world’s seas. The recycled plastic was collected from coastal areas in the Maldives, located in the Indian Ocean.
Though the Madrid team defeated the Sporting Gijon by 2-1 all thanks to Ronaldo’s record-setting Cristiano Ronaldo performance, but what was more eye catching and talk of the town was the see through kit the team wore. Yes the kit turned all transparent as soon as rain started in second half.
The club badge and sponsors’ logos, printed in a lighter tone, were quickly rendered invisible, while the jersey and shorts became increasingly transparent and left some players including goal here Cristiano Ronaldo revealed a little too much. Seems like the kit will work
The jersey might not have worked the way they thought but the funny end result probably drew more attention to the cause. Well the next time Los Blancos consider wearing them, they should first check the weather forecast.
