TOP GOOGLE DOODLE OF ALL TIME
Today the world is celebrating the 100 birth anniversary of Claude Shannon, father of information theory. And Google have also made a doodle of the father of information theory. In the doodle that is created by artist Nate Swinehart, Shannon is seen juggling in the middle of the words “Google”.
Shannon was born on 30 April 1916 in united states. Shannon is also known to have worked with Albert Einstein and Alan Turing.
His most famous work is A Mathematical Theory of Communication (1949) in which he introduced information theory, the branch of mathematics focused on transmitting digital data.
It was in this masterpiece that he coined the term “bit”, the fundamental unit of information which relates to digital certainty: true or false, on or off, yes or no.
