The most expensive bike in India i.e. Ducati 1299 Superleggera that costs Rs 1.12 crore is such an exclusive model that only 500 units were manufactured and all of them have been sold. There is only one person in India who owns Ducati 1299 Superleggera, and that is Vikram Oberoi, MD and CEO, EIH Ltd (Oberoi and Trident Hotels Group). Vikram Oberoi is a motorcycle enthusiast who already owns Ducati 1299 Panigale S, a Ducati 916 and the Ducati 1098.
Talking about the Ducati 1299 Superleggera, it is said to be the best factory twin cylinder bike ever made. It produces 215 horsepower and weights only 156 Kg.
The only bike by Ducati that has Ducati Power Launch (DPL), it is also packed with Ducati Traction Control Evo (DTC EVO) and Ducati Slide Control (DSC). The new Bosch Cornering ABS system is attached to keep the explosive power in control and to match the brakes safely.
