Attending a WWE Live Event is a life time experience or watching the match at home is also fun. Flying chairs, piledrivers, blood, hammers, new moves ,we see everything in WWE matches. But sometime I feel these matches were more real in previous years than the present one.
Since “PG era, started” the WWE has been very conscious about the image they put out on television. The matches are scripted and wrestlers do what they are instructed to do. But have you ever thought to what limits the matches are scripted. Well here is a secret document revealing the same. This document left behind at the WWE Live show from December 10-11th gives us insight into exactly how much the new era is micromanaged. So here go the rules:
No Piledrivers
A piledriver is a professional wrestling driver move in which the wrestler grabs his opponent, turns him upside-down, and drops into a sitting or kneeling position, driving the opponent head-first into the mat. This is one of the most known moves in the matches and The Undertaker is so good with it .
No referee interference in the ending of matches
The man with white and black strip t- shirt is not allowed to interfere in the live matches. Back in the day, the referee would often make some big impact in matches either by not counting 123 or by not even paying attention intestinally.
No ‘yea-boo stuff’ unless your name is John Cena
Now here comes a rule which is not meant for John Cena. One of the first next-gen wrestlers, John Cena has developed a successful career away from the ring on film and television. The leaked document shows just how big time he is – he is the only one on the roster allowed to appeal to, or wind up the crowd.
No impromptu talent promos
Yes one of the rules from the secret document revealed that the WWE stars are not allowed to do their own stuffs and that all promos must be approved by a producer or Michael Hayes ahead of time.
No chairs, tables or belt shots
We have seen chairs and tables being used number of times by wrestlers, but as per the rules they are not allowed to use them.
