After launching TUV300, Mahindra met with a reasonable success and to in-cash on that they have yet again launched a more powerful version of the compact SUV, called the mHAWK100. This is Mahindra’s second entrant to the compact SUV space after the forgettable Quanto.

The more powerful motor is available in the top-spec T8 variant only, with prices starting at Rs 8.87 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai).

Specifications:

1. 1.5 litre, 3 cylinder engine.

2. 101PS of power and 240Nm of torque.

3. Five-speed manual and an automated manual transmission (AMT) on offer with the upgraded   engine.

This is the same engine gear box which Mahindra NuvoSport has.

The TUV300 faces stiff competition from the likes of the Vitara Brezza, Ford EcoSport and its own sibling, the Mahindra NuvoSport.
