# Inspiring Early Life
Micky Jagtiani, born in Kuwait and completed his schooling from Mumbai and Lebanon but for further studies, took admission in London Accounting School. His interest in business emerged from his father as his father was a small businessman. As his mind was set up for business from beginning and therefore he left his college mid-way to set up his own business. But his main challenge was to arrange food and somehow get through the day. Then he tried for all opportunities but he just find a job of cleaner in hotel and after few months started driving taxi.
# Struggling Business
After one year, decided to return home. His parents were seriously ill and died in short spam of time. In the year 1973, he jumped into this retail business in Bahrain from $ 6,000 that his father had saved. He decided to expand his business and at time he founded Landmark group and started opening new retail stores.
In 1992 when the Gulf war began, he had to get shifted to Dubai and he also shifted his business operations with him to Dubai. There he started expanding his business to South Asian countries and other Arab nations.
# Present Conditions
At present, Landmark group is spread across 15 countries with more than 900 retail outlets. He being a billionaire is well known to the pain of hunger and this is why, he established a charitable organization, LIFE (Landmark International Foundation of Empowerment) in 2000. The organization is taking care of medical and educational needs of one lakh children in India.
The man who did menial jobs to feed himself is now an employment to more than 24000 people and the man who dropped his college is now helping so many people to Shape their future. He has become the tenth richest person in India and 271 in global list with a wealth of $ 6.6 billion (Rs 44,240 crore).
