You’ve Been Peeling an Orange Wrong

Orange is the fruit of the citrus species Citrus × sinensis in the family Rutaceae. The word orange derives from the Sanskrit word for “orange tree” which is probably of Dravidian origin. Oranges are an excellent source of vitamin C. They are also a very good source of dietary fiber. In addition, oranges are a good source of B vitamins including vitamin B1, pantothenic acid and folate as well as vitamin A, calcium, copper and potassium.
Although we know that we are too rich and are beneficial for our body, but still we don’t eat them. Reason is pealing. Yes it is very difficult to peel them and Oranges are too damn good to fight with.
Everyone has experienced the frustrated feeling of jabbing at an orange trying to get the peel off, only to be left with a sticky mess.
Now a new method has revealed the quickest and easiest way to to do it – and it only involves three slices of a knife.
So here it is real and simple:
#First, cut the ends off with a sharp knife.
#Next, turn that bad boy on one of the flat sides and make an incision along one of the orange slices all the way to the core.
#Pull it apart, and VOILÀ! You’re almost done.
