Pakistani Hindu Girl Isn’t Allowed To Take The Entrance Exam
It seems like religion and boundaries are more important than a person’s aim and what they want to do in their life. The same thing is happening with Mashal, who is not Allowed Take, the Entrance Exam after scoring 91% in 12th standard, and the reason being that she is a foreigner on paper.
As per the form, “There are only two nationality options in the (application) form: Indian, and Overseas Citizen of India/Non-Resident Indian. I am not in either category,” Mashal told leading news paper.
Two years back, 20-year-old Mashal, along with her two siblings and parents, shifted base from the Sindh province of Pakistan to Jaipur. Mashal’s parents, who also happen to be doctors by profession, quit their jobs a couple of years back and moved to India in order to secure a bright future for their children.
The family has been doing everything in their power, from requesting the ministries of External Affairs to Health, even the HRD but a solution still hasn’t been found, unfortunately. The Rajasthan government also can’t do anything about the situation since all the entrance examinations are conducted by the centre.
But now it seems like her future is on a dark side. So we hope things get getter for her and she gets what she wants.
