In a shocking incident a polish journalist was punched live on Russian TV show Voting Right, after telling panel that Ukrainians don’t want to live ‘in s***’ like Russians. Polish journalist Tomasz Maciejczuk’s run-in with another man’s fist came during an appearance on the Russian TV show “Voting Right.” The episode never aired, but the TVTs station published the video on YouTube.

The comment was made during a TV debate about average earnings in the different countries before he was attacked by former Ukrainian MP Ihor Markov. During the debate about average earnings, Mr Maciehczuk clarified that Russian workers earn less in comparison to Romania and Latvia.

He said: “When we talk about money, I want to congratulate Romania on its victory. “And do you know why? Because today the average salary in Romania is higher than it is in Russia. And it’s higher in Latvia, too.” This is when he made the comment that Russians live “in s***”.

Seething host Roman Babayan threw a piece of paper in the journalist’s face before shouting: “You’re the ones who live in s***!” The host and guest demanded Maciejczuk leave the studio. Maciejczuk refused to go.
