Prime Minister Narendra Modi is at a visit to Varanasi and on the second day of his visit, he inaugurated a Pashyu Arogya Mela at Shahanshahpur, UP. After the inauguration, Modi addressed a horde of farmers present there just for a glance of Modi where he sparkled an array of hope for all saying by 2022 everyone will get a home whether a person belongs to a rural residence or an urban residential area.

Modi made this big bang announcement acknowledging the crowd saying “if Modi did not make difficult work possible, who else would” adding that definitely, it is a major challenge to face.

1.” By 2022, every poor, whether in an urban or rural area, will get a home. Building crores of homes will generate jobs and income”, Modi said.

2. Some politicians work only when it fetches them votes, PM Modi said. “But we have been brought up in a different culture. For us, the nation is above all and it is our top-most priority, not votes.”

 

3. While praising the Uttar Pradesh government and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath for his development efforts in the state since taking charge in March, PM Modi said, “I want to congratulate the chief minister for organizing the Pashyu dhan Aarogya Mela. This fair will benefit the farmers across the state.”

 

4. Going forward with his “Clean India” message, PM Modi said he is happy to have got the “opportunity to help in the construction of toilets for the poor” and said, Swachhata” is puja for me. Cleanliness is a way to serve the poor of India.” He also encouraged all to keep their surroundings clean.

5. Modi on 22nd September 2017 inaugurated banking services of the Utkarsh bank. He also inaugurated 17 infra projects worth over Rs.1000 crores including the Ramnagar – Samne Ghat Bridge and The Balua Ghat Bridge.

 

6. The third Mahamaana Express between Varanasi and Vadodara was also flagged off later that day.

7. On Friday, 22nd September Modi visited the historic Tulsi Temple in Varanasi and Durga Mata temple after which he tweeted, “I look forward to praying at the historic Tulsi Manas Temple and Durga Mata Temple. A postage stamp on the Ramayana will also be released,”

 

8. Narendra Modi also launched a postage stamp based on ‘Ramayana’ in Varanasi and also dedicates a Water Ambulance service and a Jal Shav Vahan service to the people of Varanasi.

9. PM Modi spoke about his dream to wipe out poverty in the country and his government’s efforts to empower the poor by offering them opportunities to change their lives. “No poor person wants to give their children their poverty in inheritance,” he said.

 

10. While addressing a public meeting on 22nd, PM Modi said, “Development is the solution to all our problems. They (previous governments) seemed to hate development and the national exchequer was “destroyed” to win elections.”
